MAG Maps & Data Training is moving online and will now allow participants to choose the subject matter they are most interested in. Beginning in July, our 3-hour interactive maps and data training workshops will be divided into three one-hour segments focusing on the following topics:
- 9:00-10:00 a.m. Population and Demographics
- 10:00-11:00 a.m. Economy and Employers
- 11:00 a.m.–12:00 noon Healthcare, Education, Recreation, and Transportation
All training will be held online via Zoom webinar. One registration signs you up for all three segments. You can join the webinar at any time to get the information you’re looking for.
Select a date that fits your schedule. Click the date to register. Registrants will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom meeting details. (The Zoom link is personal to your email. Please do not share your Zoom link.) There is no charge for the workshops so feel free to share the link to this training page with your colleagues.
Attendees will explore MAG data resources, learn how to use the MAG map viewers to conduct searches for demographic and employer data, and discover other maps and data gems offered at MAG.
Training is free and open to the public, and is especially helpful to anyone involved in community assessment, economic development, grant writing, market research, and planning.
